Clinical Information Consultants (Epic, Cerner, IDX)
e-CORE Health Care Practice continues to grow as our Provider industry clients seek to transform their business and clinical processes, creating efficiencies and removing costs out of their operations. Clinical Information Systems Consultants provide direct, hands-on experience with these solutions which are developed to automate the business office, and clinical operations at our provider clients. Also, they function as integrators between business needs and technology solutions. e-CORE Health Care Practice provide operational assessments and business process redesign services related to health information management for physician practices and acute care settings. Responsibilities include, among others, performing current state analysis, defining systems strategy, developing system requirements, business process reengineering, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures and implementation. A Master’s degree is preferred and 10 to 15 years of consulting experience in implementation of Epic, Eclypsis, Cerner, IDX or similar systems solutions is required.

Practice Manager
Identify business development opportunities within existing accounts, develop proposals and deliver presentations. Preference is for experience with government, health care, or utilities industries. Demonstrated understanding and application of project management tools, techniques and methodologies are required.

Chief Technology Officer (Interim)
Directs the information and data integrity of the enterprise and its groups for all information service functions. Oversees data centers, technical service centers, productions scheduling, help desk, communication networks (voice and data) and computer systems operations. Maintains all electronic and optical books, reviewing computerized and manual systems; information processing equipment and software for acquisition, storage and retrieval; and the strategic direction of all information processing and communication systems and operations. Guides all computer and communication activities within in the company, providing a leadership role in the day-to-day operations of the Information Services functions. Provides needed direction as the enterprise expands.

ERP System Integrator
Designs and determines system specifications for integrating all business processes into a single company-wide application. Requires a knowledge of multiple business areas, process engineering and re-engineering, excellent user and communications skills, strong documentation skills plus and understanding of at least one package of in-depth or a general acumen of multiple ERP systems.

Technology Architect
Designs and develops all aspects of major information systems. May also determine the tools, languages and databases to be used. Typically becomes involved in major new developments or re-engineering efforts. Oversees the ongoing development, implementation, coordination, maintenance and overall strategy of a company’s website. Increases awareness of products and services offered by coordinating them with placement of information on the site. Requires specialized knowledge of web technologies, HTML, graphics design and layout.

Quality Assurance Analyst
Ensures all software development process and procedures are in place, standardized and fully utilized. Involved in the final portion of the software development lifecycle to ensure development efforts are acceptable prior to implementation. Assures the quality of all modifications to existing applications prior to implementation. Requires experience with SEI software development maturity modeling, ISO9000, design review, test plan preparation, and execution and automated testing.

Programmer/Analyst (Government Applications)
Requires strong COBOL programming skills and solid experience working with DB2. Also requires solid understanding of creating Test Plans, Unit Testing, and utilizing standardized practices for testing software before it is put into production. The ideal candidate will have as many of the following skills as possible: CICS, COBOL, COBOL II, VSAM, DB2, TSO, Easytrieve, Panvalet, Xpediter, Abend-Aid, File-Aid. Our clients are Oregon and Washington state agencies.

System Analyst (Health Care)
The candidate for this position must possess a solid understanding of relational databases, work with relational database schema, generate basic to intermediate queries, analyze large data sets and create custom reports. The right fit will have an understanding of standard protocols used for data transfer within Health Care Information Systems and knowledge of HIPAA.

Software Engineer
Will develop and support interface programs to LDAP. Will work on future design and use of LDAP Disaster Recovery Support. Requires 3 years client/server development with languages like C, ASP, and Visual Basic. 1-2 years MVS/JCL, DB2, and LDAP experience.

Web Developer

Analyzes, designs, develops, implements and supports web applications and functionality. Supports the presentation and marketing-related features on a website, as opposed to business/e-commerce applications. Works with HTML, JavaScript, VBScript, PERL, Photoshop and Flash, with knowledge of multimedia and CGI principles. Depending on specialization, web developers may work in a front or back-end environment.

Network Engineer
Plans, implements and supports network solutions between multiple platforms and computer peripherals. Creates new user accounts. Performs system backups and data recovery. Troubleshoots network usage and computer peripherals. Maintains link between the Internet provider the Web site and between Internet and LAN/WAN sites within the company. Keep abreast of new technologies to provide services. Responsible for e-mail and intranet operations, firewall and security administration. Technologies utilized include Microsoft Exchange Server, Windows 2000/98/NT, DOS, and Novell server based networks, as well as knowledge of network protocols including TCP/IP and IPX/SPX.

Database Administrator (Oracle and SQL Server)
Administers and controls an organization’s data resources. Uses data dictionary software packages to ensure data integrity and security, recover corrupted data and reduce data redundancy; and uses tuning tools to improve database performance. Uses data modeling techniques to analyze and specify data usages within an application area. Defines both logical views and physical data structures. In the client/server environments, defines the back end.
